A little more about me...  I have an amazing 8 year old little girl who cannot walk anywhere without adding a cartwheel. My husband and I love to attend all Pittsburgh events or just go for a walk down the strip. I have been teaching for over 15 years and I am certified in early childhood, elementary education, and have a masters degree in special education birth - 12.   I am currently teaching high school special education at Pittsburgh Public Schools. My favorite Pittsburgh Spot is definitely the Water Steps.

My hopes as your next Macaroni Kid publisher is to help enrich our local community by connecting YOU with the resources, events for kids and families in the 'Burgh, and inside scoop you didn't even know you were looking for yet ;)
